Rozzi opens with the titular character, 23-year-old Rozzi, alone in a luxurious hotel room. With her modern blunt cut and Aphrodite-like beauty, she exudes effortless charm when she wants to. Surrounded by lavish comforts, Rozzi reveals her long-devised plan of revenge, speaking directly to the audience in a candid breaking of the fourth wall. This plan stems from a childhood trauma, a sexual assault that occurred when she was just seven years old and a flower girl at a wedding.
Through a vivid flashback, Rozzi recalls the eerie chill of that day, leaving the audience with a haunting image of her younger self shrouded in darkness. As Rozzi prepares herself, picking a dress and applying makeup, her younger self appears in the room, acting as both a confidante and conspirator. Together, they’ve supported and protected each other, evading loneliness through their shared connection. Rozzi reassures her inner child with a kiss on the head before embarking on her mission.
The film climaxes when Rozzi returns to her hotel room, now covered in blood, having avenged her past. The petals of a flower girl scatter into a bathtub where a man’s lifeless legs protrude. Rozzi’s younger self appears once more, and they dance together on the bed before the child vanishes, leaving Rozzi alone to break the fourth wall for the final time.
