Eligibility

  • Film Duration: Short films, features, and documentaries (10–120 minutes).
  • Professional Credits: Team must include an experienced writer, director, or producer with an IMDb listing.
  • Budget: Minimum budget of $50,000 to ensure quality.
  • Distribution Readiness: Suitable for international sales.
  • Exclusive Screening: Films must not be freely available on any public streaming platform.
  • Recent Production: Only films produced in 2022 or later are eligible.
  • Copyright Ownership: Applicants must own all rights, and the copyright holder must be over 18.

Language Requirements

  • Films not in English must have English subtitles.
  • French-language films must also include English subtitles.

Booking Process

  1. Select Your Time Slot: Choose a time slot for your screening. If you would like to host a Q&A session after the screening, please add an additional 10 minutes to your selected time.
  2. Select Your Date: Choose your preferred screening date, either during the MIPCOM Film Market on 14 October or on 10 May, three days before the Film Festival.
  3. Complete Your Film Profile: Submit essential details, including a synopsis, team profiles, and a secure viewing link (Vimeo with password protection preferred).

Our independent screening room is the Loho Theatre on 133 rue d'Antibes, right in the heart of Cannes.

Cannes Film Agency is a local organization based in Cannes and run by Lilian Baksalevowicz, dedicated to supporting filmmakers in their distribution journey. We operate independently from the Cannes Film Festival.

You have 2 options. Book your theatrical release to screen in Cannes 3 days before the festival in May (local audience) or during the MIPCOM Film Market (film professionals) in October.

Your film should be provided in MP4 format to ensure optimal quality for theatrical screening. We will need a downloadable MP4 file closer to the event date.

Yes, you will receive a guest list sign-up page, where guests can register to attend. We also support guest list management to ensure a smooth event experience.

We handle all aspects of the screening, including venue arrangements, marketing, guest list management, and professional event photography. We promote all screenings through our channels to engage an audience and provide digital assets to help you promote your screening independently, further boosting visibility.
